A crest is a promise compressed into a few hundred pixels. The strongest sports marks in Africa borrow from landscape, heritage and movement rather than generic sporting iconography.
Colour carries most of the emotional load. High-contrast pairings read cleanly at broadcast distance and on merchandise, while muted palettes rarely survive the transition to kit.
